LBS JanaSahayog initiative started in July 2014 to encourage and provide a channel for the residents of LBS Nagar and surrounding area to share their well-being with underprivileged in the area. Residents are invited to contribute through volunteering and/or donations. The activities under this are targeted to be in the following areas:

1) Work with the local Govt School(s) and see how we can support them:

2) Connecting eligible youth of the area to the multiple vocation training opportunities available

3) Conduct Preventive/Screening Healthcare camps and related activities.

4) Start up organized activities to channelize the energies of the young in the area.

Since inception :

– we had 200+ volunteer form the community during blood donation camps, health camps, and other activities
– 30+ donors contribute funds for these projects.

– Over 650+ beneficiaries including 350 children.

– Total spending so far around 1.6L.

Our current focus areas are:

– Improvement in Education and Conditions of local Govt School and Aanganvadis.

– Community based activities for health awareness and improvement through free health camps, blood donation camps and extra-curricular activities for children.

-Action for underprivileged children is to involve them in constructive activities and personality building.
